Anthony Tomlinson vs Dante Jardon preview

Sheffield welterweight 'The Truth' Anthony Tomlinson takes centre stage this Friday night as boxing arrives in the steel city once more.

Tomlinson will challenge for the IBO Inter-Continental welterweight title against the tough experienced Mexican in Dante Jordan at the Ponds Forge Arena in Sheffield.

Anthony is coming off a win against Genadji Krajevskij last time out in May, on another Dennis Hobson promoted card and will be looking to build on tat victory and hopes to maneuver his way to the top welterweights in Britain.

A certain Dave Allen makes his return to the ring after a year and a half out. The 'White Rhino' fights Italian Andrea Pesce over six rounds. Allen still has aspirations of winning a British title in the heavyweight division and the road starts here.

In the other title fight of the night, unbeaten Sheffield super featherweight Kane Salvin defends his Central Area Title against Michael Gomez Jr. Salvin is yet to be defeated picking up six victories so far in his career, whilst Gomez Jr has accumulated a record of thirteen wins and just one defeat. The fight will also be an eliminator for the English title.

Also on the card and part of Dave Allens stable Stevi Levy (3-0) will compete in a six round contest and Levi Kinsiona will also be in action. Mark Jeffers, Katie Healy and Tommy Hodgson will also take the ring and be part of a fantastic night of boxing at the Ponds Forge Arena.
