Lyndon Arthur vs Anthony Yarde 2 Preview
This Saturday night at the Copper Box Arena, London, Lyndon Arthur and Anthony Yarde do battle for a second time after their close fought battle late last year.
The pair have a vocal dislike for each other with even their trainers Pat Barrett and Tunde Ajayi going at it at the press conference last month. December 2020 you two met in the ring in an all British light heavyweight clash. Arthur boxed to a split decision victory taking the win much to Yarde's surprise and disappointment.
Since then both fighters have only fought once with Yarde taking victory over Alex Theran in August and Arthur defeating Italian Davide Faraci in July.
Arthur's jab is going to be key if he is victorious come Saturday night, to hold off the threat of Yarde's power, evident with 20 knockout victories in his 21 wins to date. Yarde needs to be intelligent with his attacks and has to be wary also of Arthur's power, but Yarde has the tendency to be somewhat one dimensional.
A win for either fighter shoots them way up the order in the domestic and world scene in the Light Heavyweight division.
