Whyte Gets Revenge on Povetkin
Dillian Whyte stops Alexander Povetkin in 4 rounds to avenge his shock defeat last summer
'The Body Snatcher' Dillian Whyte displayed a near punch perfect performance to dismantle the Russian in 4 rounds in Gibraltar.
Whyte started as the aggressor , admitting after the fight he wanted to get Povetkin out there early and went for the early stoppage but he had seconds thoughts as he didn't want to risk another shock defeat.
A big right hand from the Brixton man sent Povetkin into the ropes , followed by another right hand from Whyte then came the devasting left hand that sent Povetkin to the canvas. The Russian was struggling to his feet , the corner decided to throw the towel in.
After the fight , Eddie Hearn mentioned a possible bout with Deontay Wilder later this year for Dillian Whyte.
Dillian Whyte moves to 28-2 (19 KOs) meanwhile Povetkin has a record of 36-3-1 (25 KOs)
Fabio Wardley , managed by Dillian Whyte , faced experienced Two time World Title challenger Eric Molina.
It was a somewhat underwhelming performance from the Ipswich man Wardley , although he did show some great movement for a Heavyweight and a great win on the record for Wardley who had no amateur experience and is very much learning on the job.
Molina was growing in to the fight after the opening 5 rounds and looked like he hurt Fabio but almost instantly after Wardley looked stunned , He landed a big shot on Molina and sent him down to the canvas. Molina didn't make the count and suffered his Seventh career loss.
Wardley moves to 11-0 as a professional picking up 10 knock out wins in the process.
Ted Cheeseman beats JJ Metcalf in a fight of the year candidate
Ted Cheeseman becomes two time British Super Welterweight Champion by stopping Metcalf in round 11
Cheeseman nearly had Metcalf down in the fourth round after hurting the Liverpudlian and unloading an explosive assault late in the round but somehow Metcalf stayed on his feet.
The action continued throughout the fight with both men having periods of success but Cheeseman's experience proved vital in the championship rounds and with just seconds left in the eleventh Cheeseman landed a massive left hand that sent Metcalf down , he was so exhausted and hurt he couldn't make it to his feet.
'The Big Cheese' (17-2-1) now holds the British Super Welterweight belt and could potentially fight Anthony Fowler later in the year for the British title or move on and fight in a World title eliminator as he is now ranked in the top 5 with the IBF.

Unbeaten Heavyweight Pfiefer was the big favourite coming in to this fight , unbeaten and a record of 7 wins and 0 losses.
Webb came out aggressively unloading on Pfiefer and he struggled to adapt and looked uncomfortable in there .
Webb had Pfiefer on the floor three times in the fight in what is a career best victory for the brit.
