Conor Benn Destroys Samuel Vargas in one round






Conor Benn made a huge statement in the Welterweight division with an explosive knock out victory over experienced Colombian Samuel Vargas


82 seconds is all it took for 'The Destroyer' to stop his opponent in devastating fashion at the Copper Box Arena and then call out British rival Amir Khan.

"Give Amir Khan , I know he's too busy on reality shows and all that. But listen , if he wants it , he can get it."

Before the fight a lot of people had been questioning if this was too much of a step of for Benn , with his limited experience but Benn showed he is at the level to compete with the top welterweights in the division.

Savannah Marshall defended her WBO World Middleweight title with a knock out win over late replacement Maria Lindberg in three rounds. Marshall , trained by Peter Fury scored two knockdowns on her way to a stoppage victory and went on to issue a challenge to undisputed World Champion Claressa Shields.


"I punch too hard for Claressa Shields , She doesn't want to know she's not interested."

Savannah Marshall is the only boxer to ever beat Shields in the amateur's or in the professional ranks.



Scottish Heavyweight Nick Campbell made a successful start to his professional career with a stoppage win over Petr Frohlich.

Former Rugby Union player now turned Boxer showed his strength and power blasting out Frohlich early.



Kash Farooq stylishly out pointed Alexander Espinoza to win the WBC International Silver title. Displaying his tremendous ring iq the Glasgow Bantamweight won y unanimous decision with the scorecards reading 97-93 , 97-95 and 97-94.

In the opening bout of the evening 18 year old John Hedges controlled a 4 round points victory over Stanko Jermelic i the light-heavyweight division.
