Derek Chisora vs Joseph Parker preview
.
May 1st two Heavyweights collide on a massive PPV show , Joseph Parker meets Derek Chisora in a fight that could propel either fighter into World Title contention.
This fight like any of Chisora's is guaranteed to bring excitement and entertainment and the undercard is not one to be missed with three World Title fights and the return of Chris Eubank Jr.
The two fighters were set to meet in 2019 before Parker pulled out due to a spider bout. Both have vast experience in the heavyweight division sharing the rings with some of the greatest fighters of recent times.
Former World Champion Joseph Parker has recently linked up with new trainer Andy Lee after parting ways with Kevin Barry.
Joseph Parker first became a World Champion winning the vacant WBO title back in 2016 over the now former unified World Champion Andy Ruiz Jr in a very close majority decision win. He went on to defend his title against Razvan Cojanu and Hughie Fury before taking Anthony Joshua twelve rounds first the first time in his career but ultimatley lost the fight by a wide points margin. Parker regrouped and accepted a fight with Heavyweight rival Dillian Whyte. An exciting contest that went the distance aand both fighters hit the canvas in the fight but 'The Body Snatcher' Whyte came out victorious.
After two back to back defeats for the New Zealand man , Parker bounced back with four consecutive wins over Alexander Flores , Alex Lepai , Shawndell Winter and Junior Fa most recently. Joseph Parker will be looking to put his name back into World title contention with a win over the tough and durable Derek Chisora.
The long and experienced career of Derek Chisora has rarely failed to disappoint although he has suffered several losses at a high level he is never a fighter to turn down an opportunity and I'm sure this is one he is confident of winning.
A win here for Chisora will prove he is a serious contender in the Heavyweight division at the age of 37 and shouldn't be taken lightly.

Craig Richards is daring to be great when he faces Light Heavyweight sensation Dmitry Bivol for the WBA World title.
Richards is making the huge jump to World level to face the unbeaten Russian Bivol who is one of the most feared Light Heavyweights in the division and Bivol will be hoping to set up a fight with fellow Russian Artur Beterbiev later this year.
Richards last outing was a win over Shakan Pitters for the British Light Heavyweight Title and this might be one step too far for Richards who has never boxed near this level.
Chris Eubank Jr wants to land a shot at Canelo Alvarez however he first has to face Marcus Morrison , his first fight since Covid-19. Eubank Jr claimed the WBA Interim World Middleweight Title against Matvey Koborov in Brooklyn last time out. He has gained a wealth of experience in his career sharing the ring with World level opposition in James Degale , George Groves and Billy Joe Saunders to name a few.

Tennyson , former World Title Challenger in 2018 with a KO defeat to Tevin Farmer , will be looking to add a first World title on his second attempt , however there is a debate whether the IBO is a legitimate World Title.
Campbell Hatton is set to make his second professional outing in May with his opponent yet to be confirmed. Hatton made his professional debut on the Povetkin vs Whyte 2 undercard in March and will be looking to make more improvements in is second bout.
