Exclusive River Wilson-Bent interview 

Exciting middleweight River Wilson-Bent takes on undefeated George Farrell in his hometown of Coventry on Saturday night and will be backed by his noisy set of fans for the for time since the pandemic. River is looking to make it 9 wins out of 9 when he fights unbeaten Derbyshire man George Farrell at Coventry's Skydome on the undercard of Sam Eggington vs Carlos Molina.

Last time out , Wilson-Bent  brutally knocked out another unbeaten fighter Troy Coleman in three rounds with a devastating right hand that would trouble any fighter.

Thanks for your time River , how are you , how's training and life at the moment for you?

'Hello , I'm really well thank you. Training life is hard as always , pushing myself to the limit everyday.'

This weekend you are coming up against undefeated George Farrell , what are you expecting from your opponent on fight night?

'I'm expecting the George to be there to make this aa quality fight for the people attending.'

On Saturday , fans will be attending a boxing show for the first time this year , are you looking forward to the return of spectators and your fans?

' I cannot wait to hear my people lifting the roof off the Skydome! It's been a long time coming.

If you overcome Farrell who would you like to fight this year?

'It's not who I want to it's what I want to fight for , the English title is what I've got my eyes on.

What is your main goal for the sport and what do you want to achieve?

'I want a Lonsdale belt! Becoming British champion is what I've always wanted but we will not be stopping there.'
