Lyndon Arthur vs Davide Faraci preview

Unbeaten Light heavyweight Lyndon Arthur looks to add to his impressive victory over Anthony Yarde last year when he defends his WBO Intercontinental against Italian Champion Davide Faraci at the Royal Albert Hall Live on BT Sport.

Arthur has accumulated an impressive record of 18 wins (12 KO’s) , with no defeats to date and has picked up notable wins against Dec Spellman and Anthony Yarde. A win would see Arthur carry on his climb up the rankings with all of the major governing bodies and potentially see him get a title shot towards the end of the year.

However Davide Faraci is no walkover , former Italian Light-Heavyweight champion and still unbeaten. His record suggests he isn't the hardest puncher out there but with 7 knockout wins in 15 fights he still poses a threat to Arthur.

Derby's WBO Ranked number 1 Middleweight Zach Parker makes his second appearance on BT Sport since signing with Frank Warrens Queensbury promotions , his opponent Sherzod Khusanov who fights out of Uzbekistan. Parker will be hoping to become mandatory to Canelo Alvarez in the near future which potentially could be for the Undisputed Middleweight championship , a fight Zach has been vocal about over recent months.

Another undefeated fighter in Archie Sharp faces Nicaragua’s Marcio Soza with the vacant WBO Global championship on the line , this fight was also postponed earlier this year due to Covid-19.

Exciting Bantamweight prospect Dennis McCann will be hoping to extend his perfect start to his professional career and make it 10 wins out of 10 when he battles John Chuwa (20-4) over 8 rounds.

Also on the undercard Muhammed Ali fights Lee Glover in a 6 round contest , Lightweight Sam Noakes takes on Lee Connelly , Karol Itauma fights Tim Ventrella over 4 rounds and Levi Frankham takes on Dale Arrowsmith in a super Welterweight contest.

Predictions

Prediction:  Arthur and Faraci are worthy challengers. Both share a similar amount of experience. It is challenging to predict which of the boxers will win. Nevertheless, I believe that Lyndon Arthur will win by unanimous decision or TKO.

Undercard:

ZACH PARKER VS SHERZOD KHUSANOV: Fighting at super middleweight for WBO International title  over 10 rounds is is parker with 20W 0L and Khusanov with  22W 2L and 1D. A win for Parker here will maintain his WBO Ranking and set him up for the biggest shot in boxing , a fight with Canelo Alvarez.

Prediction: Parker by UD

ARCHIE SHARP VS MARCIO SOZA: Super featherweight bout over 10 rounds for vacant WBO Global title with Sharp having 19 bouts and 19 wins and Soza having 21W, 6L and 2D. We know the skill Sharp possesses and he has to look good if he is to win Saturday as he has been very vocal about future fights with Jamal Herring and Shakur Stevenson.

Prediction: A comfortable decision victory for Archie Sharp.
