Boxxer : The Next Generation Preview 

The best of Boxxer's talent head to Wembley Arena this Saturday to showcase the next stars of British boxing.

Richard Riakporhe headlines and fights former World title challenger Olanrewaju Durodola for the vacant WBC Silver title. Riakporhe is currently unbeaten and recently returned from injury and a two year lay off to return to winning ways in October. Hard hitting Durodola is no pushover and will provide a stern test for the Londoner. Durodola has a 91% KO ratio, with 33 knockout victories in his 36 fights to date and has fought some of the biggest names in the division including Illunga Makubu, Mairis Breidis and Michal Cieslak. 

Hosea Burton and Dan Azeez clash for the vacant British light heavyweight title. Hosea will have the chance to regain the title he lost in 2016 to Frank Buglioni. 'Super' Dan Azeez is currently unbeaten in the professional ranks with 14 win with no defeats. The fight is certain to produce fireworks as both fighters aim to win the coveted Lonsdale belt. 

Fan favourite Florian Marku returns to Boxxer, he fights Jorick Luisetto over ten rounds. Marku has been a somewhat regular on Matchroom's shows over the last year, he most recently defeated Maxim Prodan on the Joshua vs Usyk undercard. His opponent Luisetto, boasts a record of 11-2 and poses little threat to Marku.

Natasha Jonas replaces Caroline Dubois on the undercard. Tokyo 2020 Dubois, had to pull out of her scheduled fight on Wednesday and will be replaced by former Olympian Jonas, who makes her debut on a Boxxer show. Mikael Lawal fights Leonardo Bruzzere in the Cruiserweight division. Lawal was orignally scheduled to fight Steven Ward but that fight for cancelled for a second time.

Nick Campbell returns to Sky Sports, now 3-0. He fights Danny Whitaker over 6 rounds. Campbell is aiming to become Scotland's first heavyweight British champion. Whitaker, has fought some of Britain's best heavyweight prospects including David Adeleye & Johnny Fisher. 

Super middleweight Germaine Brown Czech journeyman Ondrej Budera over 8 rounds. Brown last fought in October on Boxxer's first show with Sky Sports. Hassan Azim joins his brother, Adam, in the pro ranks and fights on the same card this Saturday. Adam Azim is currently 1-0 as a professional. Adam Azim beat Ed Harrison in his professional debut back in December 2020.
