George Kambosos vs Devin Haney Preview, Ringwalk times, PPV & Live stream
Australia is the host for this blockbuster undisputed clash this weekend as George Kambosos (20-0 10KOs) takes on Devin Haney (27-0 15KOs) for all the marbles in the lightweight division.
'Ferocious' Kambosos, shocked the world last year when he stunned Teofimo Lopez to claim the IBF, WBO & WBA Lightweight titles in New York and immediately set his sights on a fight in his home country of Australia.
Devin Haney, current WBC world champion, is recognised as the future of the lightweight division along with Ryan Garcia. At just 23 years of age he has already captured the WBC crown, although he did not win that in the ring, instead being upgraded and gifted the belt. Since being crowned world champion he has had some impressive wins on his record, most notably former unified champion, Jorge Linares.
Haney will be the away fighter in Australia, something that is concerning for fight fans as many feel he could be subject of a controversial card or two down under. We have seen this before when Jeff Horn defeated Manny Pacquiao in 2017.
Kambosos may be overlooked by Haney, but the Aussie has proven his boxing ability also his raw aggression that helped him edge a win over Teofimo Lopez.
