'The Midnight Train' Richard Riakporhe (14-0 10KOs) faces Italian Fabio Turchi (20-1 14KOs) on Saturday Night at the OVO Wembley Arena, in his last stop before a potential World title shot later in the year.
London's own, Richard Riakporhe, is on a non-stop collision course with world honours since his move to BOXXER last year, 3 fights 3 impressive performances including a brutal stoppage victory over Deion Jumah in March.
Next up for the promising Brit, 'Stone Crusher' Fabio Turchi, who boasts a record of 20 wins and just 1 defeat to Ireland's Tommy McCarthy in 2019. Turchi packs a punch, shown by his 14 knockout victories to date, and he will be hoping to add another to the record on Saturday night in the capital.
The pair were scheduled to meet in March but Turchi had to pull out of the fight due to injury, meaning Riakporhe faced late replacement Deion Jumah.
Turchi has been of the spearheads of Italian boxing in recent years since Eddie Hearn took to the country with his promotional outfit Matchroom Italy. To date, his most impressive victory has come against Dylan Bregeon last year. Although Bregeon isn't a huge name, he is a tough campaigner at Cruisierweight and a good name for a record.
Riakporhe has a huge size and reach advantage that will play a key part in the bout, the Londoner has a massive 5 inch height advantage and 7 inches in reach over the Italian.
Fellow British cruiserweight prospect and YouTube sensation Viddal Riley makes his second appearance on a Sky Sports card this year. His opponent is yet to be announced, but he will be looking to extend his unbeaten record.
Tokyo 2020 Olympian Lauren Price makes her professional debut on Saturday night in the middleweight division. The Welsh 27 year old claimed a gold medal at last year's Olympic Games in Japan.
