Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn Confirmed For October 8
A huge fight between Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn is all set to go on October 8, at the O2 Arena live and exclusive on DAZN PPV.
The pair have been in talks for this mega fight for a few weeks and after ironing out a few issues in the negotiations, the fight has finally been made.
The fathers of both fighter had a hige rivalry in the 1990's, with the two sharing the ring twice resulting in a win for Chris Eubank and a draw in the following fight.
Conor Benn has campaigned at welterweight since the start of his career and will be taking a step up to a 155 lb catchweight for the fight with Eubank Jr. Benn most recently defeated Chris Van Heerden in April to extended his unbetaen record to 21-0.
Chris Eubank Jr is vastly more experienced than Benn, a former world title challenger and a former IBO world title holder with a record of 32-2. His only two losses have come against George Groves and Billy Joe Saunders. He is now trained by legendary fighter Roy Jones Jr.
