Diego Pacheco impresses on UK debut; stops Cullen in 4 rounds

Highly touted Mexican prospect Deigo Pacheco made light work of Britain's Jack Cullen in just four rounds in his first fight on UK soil. Pacheco moved to 18-0 (15 KOs) on Saturday night with an impressive performance in Liverpool, proving why he is regarded as one of the best prospects in world boxing.

Pacheco started the fight strong, looking the better fighter in the early stages, a big right hand in the second round set the tone for the remainder of the fight. However, Cullen showed his toughness by seeing out the onslaught but that only delayed the inevitable finish.

In the opening stages of the fourth, Pacheco caught Cullen with a straight right followed by a brutal left to the body sending Cullen down to the canvas for the first time. In visible pain, Cullen managed to climb to his feet but only lasted a matter of seconds as Pacheco instinctively pounced on Cullen and forced the referee to call a halt to the contest.

"I feel ready for anyone in the division, anyone in boxing. I feel like I can compete with anyone." Said Pacheco after the fourth-round stoppage.
