Liam Smith and Chris Eubank Jr are set to lock horns for a second time this Saturday night at the AO arena, Manchester, live and exclusive on Sky Sports Box Office.
Smith and Eubank Jr met earlier in the year at the very same arena, ending in a 4th round stoppage for Liam Smith as he hurt Eubank Jr badly and had his fellow Brit down twice in the fight, forcing the towel to be thrown in. Eubank Jr claims Smith used an elbow which caused damage to his face and subsequently ended the fight for Eubank Jr.
As one of Liverpool's more successful fighters over the last decade, Liam Smith, also known as 'beefy', is a former super-welterweight world champion and boasts a record of 33-3-1 (20 KOs). Smith has established himself as a solid world-level fighter with wins over Jessie Vargas, Roberto Garcia, and Chris Eubank Jr. He also shared the ring with Canelo Alvarez, Jaime Munguia, and Magomed Kurbanov.
Smith is a techical brilliant fighter and excels in up close-quarter exchanges utilizing hooks and body shots to wear down his opponent.
Chris Eubank Jr, son of Boxing legend Chris Eubank, is one of the more villain-type fighters in the country. He has rightfully carved his own name in the boxing world, culminating a record of 32-3-0 (23 KOs) over his 12 years as a pro.
